Jay
Bellanca was named regional
sales manager at Hauppauge, N.Y.-based
Müller Martini Corp., a manufacturer
of print finishing systems and
variable size web offset presses.
He is responsible for sales in
New York City, Long Island and
the eastern portion of New York
state. Kenneth Hagan was
named regional sales manager for
northern California, northern
Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho,
Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Hawaii.
He previously held sales and management
positions with MAN Roland, Didde
Web Press and A.M. Multigraphics.
Richard
N. Piper was named president
and CEO of FMAudit, a Phoenix-based
manufacturer of Viewer and
Viewer USB products. Piper
previously served as director
of enterprise solutions at Electronics
For Imaging Inc., where he was
responsible for product strategy
planning and execution of the
electronic paper distribution,
and print assessment and management
practice areas. Greg Allen,
former president and CEO, now
serves as vice president of operations.
Camille
Roy was named vice president
of worldwide sales at Reading,
Mass.-based XyEnterprise, a developer
of XML and standards-based content
management and enterprise publishing
solutions. She’s responsible
for growing the company’s
sales technical documentation
and commercial publishing business
in North America, Europe, the
Pacific Rim and Latin America.
Roy previously held sales and
sales management positions with
FatWire, Stellent, Interleaf and
Xerox. Sally Allen was
named director of human resources.
Allen previously served as a human
resources generalist and an independent
human resources consultant for
the company. She recruits and
retains industry talent, and manages
benefits administration and employee
development. Mary Galoski Parsons
was named director of marketing
communications. She’s responsible
for all outside communications,
including lead generation, brand
development, public relations,
web management and marketing,
event management, partner marketing
and promotional activities. Previously,
Parsons drove the lead generation,
brand development and promotional
efforts of both start-ups and
blue chip companies, including
MCI, Thomson, PictureTel and OpenReach.
PROMOTIONS
Dennis
Dessilla was named director
of sheetfed sales at Mitsubishi
Lithographic Presses USA Inc.,
Lincolnshire, Ill. He previously
served as director of corporate
finance and administration, working
with customers to secure financing
for new press purchases. He joined
the company in 1989 as controller.
Christopher Hung was named
vice president of Mitsubishi Imaging’s
graphic arts division, Rye, N.Y.
He previously served as general
manager of technical services.
In that role, he implemented a
national customer support system
that delivers technical assistance
to customers who use the company’s
computer-to-plate systems. Previously,
Hung served as print media manager
at Canon USA Inc., where he was
responsible for product development
and commercial implementation
of Canon ink jet and electrophotographic
paper.
Jim
Davidson was named vice president
of international and OEM sales
at Nazdar, Shawnee, Kan. He focuses
on expanding international markets.
Davidson most recently served
as vice president of operations
and was responsible for all aspects
of the Nazdar’s R&D,
manufacturing and customer service.
Nigel Heywood was named
digital products territory manager
for the southeast region at SourceOne,
a distributor of Nazdar’s
digital inks, equipment and supplies
for screen and digital printing
applications. Previously, Heywood
served as the national sales and
product manager at Autotype.
George
Fischer was promoted to general
manager, central region, at MAN
Roland. He’s responsible
for all sales, service and support
of MAN Roland sheetfed presses
in the Midwest. Fischer joined
the supplier in 2002 as a director.
Prior to joining MAN Roland, he
worked for Lehman Brothers, where
he advised clients on issues regarding
strategy, acquisitions, disposals
and capital raising in the United
States and Europe. Daniel Siewert
was named general manager, Southern
region. He directs a team of sales
consultants, service technicians
and support professionals who
focus on the equipment needs of
sheetfed facilities from North
Carolina to Texas. Siewert spent
the previous 21 years as plant
manager and director of quality
with Williams Printing, an R.R.
Donnelley & Sons company that
specializes in high-end annual
reports and corporate communications.
Eric Scherner was named
service manager, commercial web
segment. He supports the company’s
customer care strategies by managing
effective delivery of its maintenance
and enhanced services programs.
Bill
Owens was named director of
marketing at Ann Arbor, Mich.-based
Xitron, a developer and integrator
of raster image processors, RIP
management software and workflow
solutions. Owens previously served
as product manager, Navigator
Solutions. Eric Nelsen
now serves as product manager,
Navigator Solutions. He previously
held product development, support,
and integration positions with
several industry suppliers. Rick
Werner was named Western region
dealer manager. He’s responsible
for dealer and distributor development
and training in Alaska, Arizona,
California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada,
New Mexico, Montana, Oregon, Texas,
Utah, Washington, Wyoming and
British Columbia. He previously
held sales, support and production
positions with Tekgraf, Bell Industries,
Screen and Scitex.
APPOINTMENTS
Hal
Stratton, director of new
technologies at MAN Roland, was
named 2005-2006 chairman for the
Networked Graphic Production collaborative,
a partnership between 50 print
industry vendors dedicated to
increasing efficiency through
automation, integration and cross-vendor
interoperability with JDF technology.
Stratton previously served on
the partnership’s steering
committee as chair for the Press
Implementation Forum. NGP also
announced that the following people
have joined its steering committee:
