NEW HIRES
Deborah Challoner was named vice president
of sales and marketing services at St. Louis-based Jerome
Group. She’s responsible for growing the
distributorship’s national client base. During her four
years at Jerome, Challoner has built the firm’s client
roster and led the strategic development and implementation of
national direct marketing campaigns for several Fortune 500
clients. Mike Goodwin was named chief creative officer. In this
newly created position, Goodwin directs the company’s
creative process, with special emphasis on strategy and program
development for Jerome’s partner ad agencies and clients.
Goodwin previously served as vice president and creative
director for Rapp-Collins West, and was chief creative officer
and co-founder of Hammarstrand & Wolffe. Luke Teboul was
named vice president of operations. Teboul is responsible for
equipment procurement, quality management and press maintenance
operations. He previously served as director of production for
Direct Solutions International, Dallas. Debbie Marchant was
named director of IT. She oversees software development, the IT
direct mail production team and network management. Marchant
previously served as technology manager for Key Bank/Conning
Corporation, Cleveland. Ken Jones was named group creative
director. In this new position, Jones directs the day-to-day
creative efforts of the firm and works closely with Mike
Goodwin and Jerome’s ad agency partners. He previously
served as creative director for Checkmark Communications. Nick
Roso was named director of production. Roso oversees
Jerome’s lettershop operations, including mail, warehouse
and distribution. Previously, he served as director of
production at PEP Direct Inc., Wilton, N.H. Brian Plummer was
named outsourcing coordinator. Plummer coordinates external
lettershop, laser print, and commercial print and bindery
services.
Rick Becker was named distributor sales
representative at manufacturer Georgia National Forms,
Marietta, Ga. Becker, who has nearly 20 years of sales and
management experience in the business forms industry, leads the
company’s sales efforts in the southeastern United
States. He previously served as vice president of sales and
regional sales manager at Vallis.
Mark P. Cupach joined Cleveland-based
Business Stationery Inc. as director of national sales. He
develops and implements comprehensive sales strategies through
all channels of stationery trade. Cupach, who has more than 30
years of print industry experience, previously managed the
printed products business of Proforma PFG for eight years in
vendor development, trade-show management, and product and
sales training.
Karl J. Karch was named general manager of
Newtown, a Fredericksburg, Va.-based business forms
manufacturer. Prior to joining Newtown, Karch served as
director of operations and CEO of Crabar/GBF and as vice
president of manufacturing at GBF Graphics.
Darryl R. Dobin was named president of the
Business Information Logistics (BIL) division at Macro 4 Inc.,
Crawley, England. Dobin is responsible for sales, operations
and support of the company’s BIL suite of output
management, archiving, workflow and business process management
solutions in the United States and Canada. He works from Macro
4’s Parsippany, N.J., office. Prior to joining Macro 4,
Dobin was president of the Americas for document composition
supplier GMC Software Technology Inc., Braintree, Mass., where
he was responsible for all sales, marketing, operations and
support.
Marc Johnson was named director of
industry marketing at Kodak Versamark Inc., a part of
Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, Dayton. Johnson
works with Kodak Versamark’s sales, product and marketing
teams to promote the company’s digital printing solutions
to print providers, print specifiers and industry associations.
His activities focus on the graphic arts market segment. Prior
to joining the company, Johnson worked at Presstek, Hudson,
N.H., where he was responsible for worldwide marketing and
maintained business alliances with partners in workflow,
connectivity and proofing. At Presstek, he managed the
successful launch of the Dimension series of computer-to-plate
products.
Finbarr J. O’Neill was named
president and CEO at the Reynolds and Reynolds Company, Dayton,
Ohio. O’Neill previously served as president and CEO of
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Cypress, Calif. He also has
held a variety of executive positions with Hyundai Motor
America, including CEO. At Reynolds and Reynolds, O’Neill
succeeds Phil Odeen, who continues to serve as chairman of the
board.
Douglas L. Stryker was named division
manager of Muller Martini’s U.S. print finishing
division, Hauppauge, N.Y. He supports the company’s sales
team by recommending customer-specific finishing solutions,
providing extensive engineering support, structuring training
programs, and delivering seminars and courses designed to
educate customers about the latest finishing equipment and
processes. He most recently served as vice president and
general manager at Huffman Metal Works Inc., Hickory, N.C.
Prior to holding that position, Stryker spent 17 years with
commercial printer Fry Communications Inc.
Nancy C. Geisler was named director of
marketing for facility supplies at Unisource Worldwide, a
Norcross, Ga.-based distributor of paper, packaging and
facility supplies. She’s responsible for the marketing
function of this business unit of Unisource and reports to Tim
O’Connor, vice president of marketing for packaging and
facility supplies. Geisler has more than 15 years of marketing
and consulting experience, including product and business
management, communications, business development, strategic
sourcing, business planning, sales and market research. Prior
to joining Unisource, she founded Carlson Geisler Associates
Inc., a marketing and financial services venture.
APPOINTMENTS
H. Howard Flint II assumed the position of
non-executive chairman of the board at manufacturer Flint Ink
Corporation, Ann Arbor, Mich. He served as chairman and CEO
since 1992. Dave Frescoln, president of the organization since
1992, was elected vice chairman and CEO of the global company.
Linda Welty, COO, was named president. David B. Flint continues
to serve as executive vice president of the family-owned
company.
RESIGNATION
Paul V. Reilly resigned as chairman,
president and CEO of Cenveo Inc., Denver. According to his
separation agreement with the company, Reilly will perform the
functions and duties of president and CEO until the board of
directors finds a successor and formally accepts his
resignation. At that time, Reilly will retain his position as a
director on Cenveo’s board. Susan O. Rheney was named
interim chairman. Rheney served on the board during
Cenveo’s formation until 1997, and rejoined in February
2003. She is a member of Cenveo’s audit committee and
governance and nominating committee. Previously, she served as
a principal at the Sterling Group, an investment firm that
formed Mail-Well Inc., Cenveo’s predecessor.
